Special Education: Ms. T's Classroom-Info for Logging On and Schedule



Info for Parents to Log On for Your Student

Google Classroom
Log into your student’s gmail school account.
  In the upper right hand corner of the screen,
tap on the nine dots that look like a waffle.
Google Classroom will be there, tap on it and tap on 
Ms. T’s SH Class.
To get to Meet, go to the upper right hand corner
of the screen and again tap on the nine dots that
look like a waffle. Tap on Calendar-there will be a
meeting for 8 am Ms. T’s Class-join at 8am M-F.

Acellus
To log into Acellus, go to https://www.acellus.com/
Look up your student’s Acellus ID and password.
There is a list down below. I have also sent an email
to your student’s email with this info. You will find
work for your student to begin right away. They will
work on Acellus during Independent Study (9:30-11:00 am)
and you can have them work any other time they are not
at our special Meet Times which will be 8:00-8:30 am
and then 11:00-12. After PE, which is at your student’s
PE teacher’s Google Classroom from 8:42 -9:30, there
will be independent study from  9:30-10:45 am where
your student works on Acellus. 

Google Meets

We will have two Google Meets every day. This first is
from 8 am-8:30 am. The students then go to their PE
Google Meet from 8:42-9:30, the Independent Study
on Acellus from 9:30-10:45 am. Our second Google
Meet at 11 am-noon. The links will be found on
Google Calendar.

Back to School! See You In Google Classroom 8/3/20 8 am

Back to School!
I hope you and all of yours are well, doing great. My family and I are well also.
We will continue Remote Teaching with some changes.


Your student must log into Google Classroom 
EVERY MORNING at 8:00 am. Monday-Friday
The Google Meet invitation will daily be sent to your student’s school email.
You can find the invitation in Google Calendars. 


We will follow the District’s calendar of school attendance and holidays.
Attendance is mandatory for Silverado, and will be reported
to VVUHSD and the Department of Education of the State of
California. 
There will be times I will expect you to assist in an activity or
lesson. We want to do the best for our students, and our
services through Google Classroom is central for your
student’s learning. (Instructions on logging into Google Classroom included.)


Our schedule will include these subjects: Functional English,
PE,  Functional Science, Functional Social Studies,
Functional Math, and Vocational. You will receive a
detailed daily and weekly hourly schedule of Google Classroom Meets,
as well as scheduled individual tutoring sessions through
Google Classroom Meets for your student.


We have a new Instructional Assistant in our classroom who
will work with our students on Google Meet and online instruction.
